Vicenza Middle School Launches First Annual Art Walk
Vicenza Middle School welcomed families, staff and community members on Dec. 10, 2025, for its first annual Art Walk, transforming the campus into a gallery celebrating student creativity. Sponsored by the Vicenza PTSA, the event introduced a new tradition that combined student artwork, live performances and community engagement.

Building Wise Digital Citizens: CID Special Agent Educates Vicenza Middle School Students on Online Safety
Vicenza Middle School’s Computer Applications students received an invaluable lesson in digital responsibility during a guest presentation from Mr. Kyle M. Geddes, a Special Agent with the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division. Speaking to sixth graders, Mr. Geddes brought real-world expertise to a highly engaging discussion on Internet safety, password security and the importance of wise online decision-making.
History on the Menu: Vicenza Middle Students Host Progressive Era Dinner
American History 8 classes at Vicenza Middle School recently wrapped up their unit on the Progressive Era (1890–1920) with a unique and engaging project: hosting an imaginative dinner party for the period’s key reformers. Students—some even dressed in historical attire—brought in dishes inspired by the era as they explored the works of influential figures such as muckraker Ida Tarbell, industrialist Andrew Carnegie, and civil rights leader Booker T. Washington.

It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to notify the school every time a student is absent. All students who arrive to school after 8:00 a.m. must be accompanied by a guardian and signed into the school.
